How blessed are we to be surrounded by such willing and courageous servants of God’s Kingdom who answered the call to be sent out on His behalf?

Isaiah was a prophet who began his ministry for God when he heard God’s voice ask who He should send as a messenger into Judah. The prophet Isaiah volunteered for the mission when he said: “Here I am, send me!” Prior to this occurring in verse 8, Isaiah professed his sinful nature and unworthiness before God and His glory. In light of God’s holiness, Isaiah was humbled when he saw his faulty condition. However, God doesn’t leave us broken. He wants to cleanse us, make us whole again, and commission us for a greater purpose. All He asks of us is that we accept the reality of our condition and confess our sinful nature. Only then can God touch our lives and use us as an instrument for His good and perfect plan.
