The Hegelian dialectic is a method that has been used throughout history to concentrate more power into the hands of career politicians and ruling elites through governmental overreach. We know from the Bible that the enemy uses our fear against us by making us doubt our Almighty Creator. Instead of trusting in God, His protection, and His perfect plan—the enemy causes anxiety and restlessness so that we frantically relinquish our God given rights to entities in this world
that only seek to benefit from our suffering. Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to those who deprive the poor of their rights, to those who withhold justice from the oppressed, to those who rob the least of these, and to those who call evil good and good evil (Isaiah 10:1-2, 5:20).
The model of the Hegelian dialectic is best described as a triangle: one end is the thesis, the opposite is the antithesis, and the corner is the synthesis. Essentially, a bad problem is created and a solution is offered that’s better than the problem. The devil is in the details and what most people don’t realize is that the solution offered always requires that we surrender our freedoms to earthly authorities. Crisis events, fear, and chaos—these are all fronts in this spiritual battle of truth vs lies. Our fight is never against flesh and blood, rather it is against the rulers, authorities, and cosmic powers that rule the present darkness. These are the works of the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12).
It is always the unseen that we see manifested around us which is why having a biblical worldview is critical in society today. However, having a biblical worldview requires time with God in scripture. Without this, we have the most valuable weapon (the Bible) but we have know knowledge of how to wield it.
